Workers' Educational Association

The Workers' Educational Association organises courses for adults of all ages in communities and workplaces across Edinburgh. Courses include confidence building, return to learning, women's studies, reminiscence/oral history, political studies, creative writing, Scottish literature, art and music. The WEA also provides literacies learning opportunities for adults in workplaces across Edinburgh and Preparation for Retirement short courses for older workers. No qualifications are needed to take part. Some courses are free or offered at reduced rates for people who are retired or living on benefits.
