City Centre Community Education Team We aim to work with learners and organisations to develop and offer learning experiences that are relevant to different needs. We also recognise and promote the key contributions people of all ages make in changing and improving their community in a variety of ways. Community Education provides opportunities to take part in a wide variety of local groups, clubs and classes and other activities.

The Living Memory Association is a unique organisation in Scotland which exists to promote oral and community history. The LMA provides training in reminiscence work and has handling boxes and other resources available to borrow. The LMA holds an invaluable photographic archive approaching 2000 images presenting a fascinating glimpse into the social history of Edinburgh and beyond for present and future generations to value and enjoy.
