The Living Memory Association

The LMA is a unique organisation in Scotland which exists to promote oral and community history. The LMA provides training in reminiscence work and has handling boxes and other resources available to borrow. The LMA holds an invaluable photographic archive approaching 2000 images presenting a fascinating glimpse into the social history of Edinburgh and beyond for present and future generations to value and enjoy. The images can be accessed at www.livingmemory.org.uk

We also offer presentations showing a selection of images from our archive.
