Edinburgh Cyrenians provides a flexible range of learning opportunities
for people who are rebuilding their lives after homelessness.
These include recreational activities, training, volunteering,
educational and employment opportunities. We also provide
information, guidance and support to encourage service users
to identify their interests and needs with a view to them
being able to move on and access educational opportunities
throughout Edinburgh. Most referrals come from individuals
accessing Cyrenians accommodation although external referrals

Fountainbridge Library Everyone is welcome to make use of free computer and internet access, and occasional computer taster sessions are advertised locally. Hands on Technology Group User
Forum is a small charitable organisation which
caters mainly, but not exclusively, for disabled people
who live or work in Edinburgh. The group has the use of twelve iMacs
with Internet access, a variety of special needs equipment
and wheelchair access. Free professional tuition in computer
skills at all levels is offered in classes which are small,

Holyrood Community ICT Association
promotes ICT and offers accessible learning opportunities
to people in the Holyrood/Old Town and South Side areas
in Edinburgh. We offer open access, using computer based
training. The facilities include ten networked computers

Outlook is an education project that enables adults
who use mental health services to take up a variety of educational
opportunities through offering individual guidance and support.The
project also offers a range of free short adult education
courses, providing a space for people to regain the confidence
